About the event content

Today, procurement is recognized and established as a value-added partner in the company. For a successful exploitation of savings potentials, purchasing controlling is basis, enabler and pathfinder at the same time. Purchasing controlling is often perceived as a nuisance - and that is a good thing, because the company can only remain competitive if processes, organizations and interfaces are constantly scrutinized and adapted to current conditions.

The 11th BME Forum "Controlling & Reporting in Purchasing" will therefore focus on the following issues:

• How can savings be presented seamlessly and for all interfaces?
• Which modern measurement methods can be used to actively manage purchasing controlling in a volatile market environment?
• How can the master data process be anchored as a cycle in order to permanently guarantee high data quality?  How can the development, but also the innovative strength of suppliers be measured?
• What challenges and opportunities does trend topics such as Industry 4.0 present for purchasing controlling?  Where is the best place to recruit employees for purchasing controlling?
• How can external providers meaningfully support purchasing and purchasing controlling?

Target group

The event is aimed at managers and senior staff from the areas of purchasing controlling, procurement, materials management, supplier management, controlling and supply chain management, and finance.
