Deutsche Bahn legal department wins JUVE Award 2019 for best in-house team of the year

Congratulations to Thomas Berger and his team for winning the JUVE Award! 

Deutsche Bahn's legal department impressed the jury with its legal spend management system. Through the jointly developed commodity group strategy within the framework of the ESE 2.0 program (Expert Program Strategic Purchasing), it was not only possible to install an improved purchasing management system, but with the help of the definition of all responsibilities, it was also possible to integrate the spend management system into the SAP environment.

As a result of the collaboration between the legal department and the purchasing department, which was jointly initiated as part of the expert program, the knowledge of purchasing experts and lawyers now meshes seamlessly.
