Moderation & presentation at the procurement summit 2023 in Hamburg

It is again a special pleasure for me to moderate the Masterclass stage "Matterhorn" at the Procurement Summit together with my long-time colleague Elmar Holschbach and this time also to close the day with my own presentation on the topic of personnel development in procurement.

Procurement Summit 2023

Year after year, procurement experts meet at the Procurement Summit, the trade fair for digitalization and innovation in procurement, to report on the current challenges and highlights of the past year. In addition to well-known classics such as sustainability, the supply chain law and the positioning of purchasing in the company, this time AI, blockchain & virtual assistants are again added as new and interesting impulses.  

Two days in Hamburg with top-class speakers and discussion panels with leading experts.

Using the apadua framework contract module as an example, the two talk about the ups and downs of their strategic partnership. They also take a look at what a global family business and a fast-growing scale-up have in common.

 

#14 People, Culture, Learning, Transformation - "Personnel Development in Purchasing "

How do you actually teach future competencies and networking in strategic purchasing?

With insights into the development programs of Deutsche Bahn (Institute of Procurement) and Hubert Burda Media (Burda Procurement).

  • How do we implement and anchor the learned knowledge directly and actively in the organization?
  • How can we actually train new (agile) forms of cross-functional collaboration, innovation, digitalization, sustainability, risk management, analytics, process management and other topics in a practical and implementation-oriented way?

Christian Thöne explains field-tested methodologies and principles of PE in purchasing that are both experience- and results-oriented. He rounds off his journey into the world of HR development with a concrete look behind the scenes of two examples of sustainably introduced change / training / implementation concepts from corporate groups and medium-sized companies.
